Kariega Game Reserve

Kariega Game Reserve is a family-owned and operated private game reserve stretching across 9,000 hectares of pristine wilderness in the Eastern Cape  Province of South Africa. The Reserve is situated along the famous Garden Route, making it the perfect Big 5 safari destination to compliment a Cape Town visit  and a trip along South Africa's beautiful coast. This malaria-free destination is home to some of the richest biodiversity in Southern Africa, as well as the picturesque Kariega and Bushman's Rivers. Incorporating luxury safari lodge accommodation, spectacular vistas and magnificent Big 5 and general game viewing, Kariega Game Reserve offers the ultimate in authentic African safari holidays. Experience close up viewing of the Big 5 – lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo – as well as multitudes of other African wildlife from the comfort of an  open game drive vehicle, or take in the unique eco-systems of the rivers during  a tranquil boat cruise. Kariega Game Reserve is a 10 minute drive from the  sleepy coastal village of Kenton-on-Sea, and a mere 140 km outside of Port  Elizabeth, making it perfectly accessible and ideally situated near the coast. All of this with two top wildlife photographers to assist you with all your photographic needs.
